AR Project

This was an class assignment to give us an introduction into the different type of augmented reality applications. Our task was to set up a interaction zone with the phone so we can place down 3d models. There was a total of 10 models we need to have implemented and 2 of them needs to be created using photogrammetry. Photogrammetry is done using multiple pictures of an object from various angle then fed into any photogrammetry program. It would create a 3D mesh of said object, then I would touch it up in blender. The process would take a varied amount of time depending on how of the mesh is missing. Afterword I lowered the polygon count while keeping the model as high defintion as possible to make it load better and faster. The models are all placed on a pedestal with a small description, the 2 model from photogrammety had random visual effects and music while the other 8 model had animation and fitting sound effect. There is no limit to how many of each model that can be placed down. Each of the models is placed inside a list so that they can be deleted and rotated, however it will affect all of the models.

You can watch a demo video of it here
